Dogenzaka Ryo
A restaurant offering Japanese seafood cuisine, including sashimi, tempura, and creative dishes.
Its stylish atmosphere, accentuated by indirect lighting, makes it perfect for dates.
The recommended dish here is the “Ohako-don” (Specialty Bowl).
This super cost-effective dish features a generous amount of seafood atop a rice bowl.
Another popular choice is the “Premium Ohako-don”, which includes added crab and salmon roe.
The set menu also comes with sashimi.
For a straightforward favorite, choose the “Ohako-don.” If you’re in the mood for something extra luxurious, go for the “Premium Ohako-don.” Both are hearty and satisfying.
Why not enjoy a delicious seafood lunch with your partner in this calm and well-designed space on a weekday afternoon?

Toritake Sohonten
Established in 1963, this yakitori (grilled chicken skewer) restaurant is a local gem.
Although it’s more of a pub in the evening, the lunchtime “Yakitori Bowl” is exceptional.
The “Yakitori Bowl” comes with free rice refills.
Particularly known for its delicious liver.
The restaurant also allows you to order individual skewers.
If you’re not a fan of liver, you can request to have it excluded from your Yakitori Bowl.
Staff will ask, “Is liver okay for you?” when you order, so let them know your preference.
You can also enjoy a casual drink during lunch.
A light drink alongside your lunch can be a delightful treat every now and then!
While it may not be the most romantic spot, it’s still suitable for a casual date.
Highly recommended for chicken lovers.

And people Jinnan
A stylish café and bar that is extremely popular among women.
There are two locations in Shibuya, but my personal recommendation is the Jinnan branch.
Although it is a chic café and bar, the weekday lunch menu offers an incredibly cost-effective grilled fish set meal.
The most popular dish is the “Grilled Salted Fatty Mackerel.”
A classic choice.
The rice also has a delightful crispy layer at the bottom, making it even more delicious.王道のMenuです。
Additionally, “Homemade Tartar with Fried Oysters and Seafood Fry” and “Homemade Tartar Chicken Nanban” are also personal favorites.
Why not visit this stylish café, which has a completely different vibe from its nighttime bar atmosphere?

Pota Pasta
A super cost-effective restaurant where you can enjoy fresh pasta at a bargain price.
The shop is located on the second floor, with a compact interior mostly consisting of counter seating, but many people surprisingly choose it for dates.
The recommended dish is the “Miracle Bolognese.”
The pasta here is authentic and high-quality, making it hard to believe it’s from such a budget-friendly place.
Other popular dishes include the spicy and delicious “Arrabbiata” and the rich and creamy “Carbonara.”
Because the prices are so low, you may find yourself wanting to come back repeatedly to try every item on the menu.
Keep in mind that this is not a place where you can linger for long periods. As long as you are aware of this, the satisfaction level is very high.
It’s also perfect for dining alone.

It is located on the slope of Aoyama Street, with JR Shibuya Station B4 Exit being the nearest access point.

Mouyan Curry’s sauce takes two weeks to prepare, being slowly simmered to perfection.
It is characterized by its bold yet flavorful taste, offering a curry experience that goes beyond mere spiciness.
Due to the bustling atmosphere, this place is better suited for outings with friends or family with children rather than romantic dates.

The taste and portion are both incredibly satisfying.
If you want to try this dish, it’s best to line up before the shop opens.

Dishes like “Hamburg Steak” and “Beef Cheek Meat Braised in Red Wine” are among the many delicious options available.

Zarigani Cafe
A hidden gem located a bit away from Shibuya Station.
Situated near NHK, it’s a café popular among younger generations of both men and women.
The signature menu item here is the “Zarigani Curry.”
For clarification, the curry doesn’t actually contain crayfish, so rest assured.
This simple curry has maintained its flavor since the café’s opening.
It features onions cooked until they turn caramel-colored, combined with minced chicken for a nostalgic taste.
Another signature item is their “Apple Pie,” which is also a hit.
The Ginger Apple Pie is particularly stylish and adorable.
Both are sweet and delicious, making them highly recommended desserts.
